Well, it wasn't enough for Wired and Chris Mooney to have a go at the state of polling, now Reuters has gone and written up an article too. Geeze, maybe you guys should have a State The Obvious party.

What has become of us? There is almost nothing left here that will be accepted in heaven! And I'm not really a religious person to be a judge of that. I think the plan was to accept what god gave us and be happy with one another. And most are failing. We keep creating new things to amuse ourselves everyday, because we put profit before our brothers and sisters around us. Have we really become bored of one another that we need some gadget to keep us together? I've come to understand that those who are being deceived never realize that it is happenning and after talking with some friends of mine I've decided to try and get my point out. Just about everybody drives a car right? Well try this on for size. Take a pipe and connect it to the rear exhaust of the car. Now run the pipe back to a helmet that the driver will be wearing. Alright! now start up the car and see how far you get before you die! Do you people not see what you are doing to yourselves and every living and nonliving creature on the planet. This is what you call progress? I beleive you are misinterpreting "progress" for "profit" In the end the you all allow for a world to exist with no- one to govern! This is gonna really suck but almost everything around us is not going to exist in heaven. So why do we hold so tightly to it like addicts. Folks were all gonna die, why does the majority have too wait until they are too sick or on their death bed to change. Cars are just one thing to point out, I'm sure there is close to 7 billion others including myself! Now that you have read this you have in a way been damned...Cause now you have the knowledge and could choose to just say "no more" Go and find the fun again in each other. Anyone who wants to question this, I say slap on the helmet for just one minute and tell me if you still disagree......if you can! We are all smarter than this.
